Whether you’re training for your first HYROX or looking to level up your race performance, our dedicated HYROX Camp at Makahiya is designed to push you further and smarter.

This fully immersive week blends expert-led seminars, focused movement workshops, and race-specific workouts in a setting that supports performance, recovery, and serious results.


What is HYROX?

HYROX is a global fitness race that combines functional strength and endurance in one consistent format: 1km run + 1 functional movement, repeated 8 times.

It demands aerobic capacity, muscular endurance, mental resilience and efficiency across every station.


Is this camp for you?

This camp is open to all abilities - whether you're just starting out or already competing. You'll train alongside likeminded people in a supportive but challenging environment, guided by experienced HYROX athletes and coaches who know exactly what it takes.


Led by HYROX Athletes & Coaches

HYROX Camp Week is led by the expert coaching team at Makahiya Fitness - an official HYROX Affiliate Gym. With firsthand experience competing at HYROX events and years of coaching under their belts, our team brings the insight and structure needed to help you train with purpose and race with confidence.


What’s Included

Accommodation

  • 7 nights in a boutique, private en-suite room

  • Air-conditioning and a private balcony for comfort and relaxation

Nutrition

  • Three nutritious meals each day: breakfast, lunch and dinner

  • All meals are macro-balanced and calorie-counted, designed to fuel your training, support recovery, and help optimise performance

  • Meals are included from dinner on arrival day through to breakfast on checkout day. If you arrive early or check out late, additional meals can be provided at an extra cost

Seminars

Race smarter with in-depth seminars covering:

  • Key fitness tests: what they are and why they matter

  • How to train each energy system effectively

  • Pacing strategies and understanding training volume

  • Strength training principles for HYROX

  • Running training that supports race performance

  • Recovery protocols: sleep, hydration, nutrition, and supplementation

Workshops

Master the movements with focused technique sessions:

  1. Ski Erg & Row Erg

  2. Sled Push & Sled Pull

  3. Wall Balls & Burpee Broad Jumps

  4. Walking Lunges & Farmers Carry

  5. Running mechanics & efficient transitions

Workouts

Each day includes structured training with a focus on HYROX-specific performance and recovery:

  • Run & erg intervals

  • Compromised workouts & transitions

  • Strides and VO2 max sessions

  • Zone 2 easy bike & running

  • Strength-focused sessions (x2)

  • Recovery & mobility work (including ice bath access)

Gym & Pool Facilities

  • Unlimited access to our fully equipped gym

  • Full access to the outdoor swimming pool throughout your stay


Pricing & Room Options

Double Occupancy
For two people booking and sharing a room together (must be booked as a pair).

  • £995 per person (Total: £1,990 per room)

  • Early Bird Offer*: £920 per person (Total: £1,840 per room)

Single Occupancy
For one person booking a private room for solo use.

  • £1,495 per person

We do not pair individuals into shared rooms:

  • If you would like to share a room, you must book together with another person

  • If you are booking alone, you will need to book a single occupancy room
